(9/11/2009) My first reaction on hearing of the murder of Jim Pouillon was to feel glad it wasn't me. For weeks since I was convicted of showing the dead babies on the Carrollton, Ga City Square, reports had come to me that people were saying somebody was going to shoot me for showing the dead baby signs in public. As I considered taking the signs to our local schools, I realized there was more than a small chance I would be killed. In fact, when I was in Oregon last week for the Paul deParrie Camp Meeting, I told the people there that I felt like I would be shot if I took the signs to the schools here in Carrollton, Ga.
In the face of Jim Pouillon's martyrdom I now realize that my candidacy for Governor is more needed than ever before. Instead of more people picketing and praying outside abortion mills and schools as we have been doing for the last 37 years, we need a Governor who will order armed State Patrolmen who will, instead of guiding expectant mothers to murder their children, nullify the evil federal abortion law by turning pregnant women away and protecting the lives of all people threatened with murder. As Candidate for Georgia Governor I pledge to provide exactly that protection when I am elected.
In Memory of Jim Pouillon I will take the following brochures to every merchant I can reach in Carrollton, Georgia, and throughout the State of Georgia:
Why Parents Hate Dead Fetus Pictures
The CPC--and Pro-Life--Paradox
